Commanding Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard:

GROUP CAPTAIN TYRONE K. RODULFO assumed the role appointment Commanding Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard with effect from 01 July 2009. As the Deputy Commanding Officer he was responsible for the supervision of all administrative and operational aspects of Air Guard business on behalf of the Commanding Officer, as well as being a key member in the planning of the organization’s development.Thumbnail

Group Captain Rodulfo joined the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard on 4th June 1984 as an Officer Cadet in the Warfare specialization and was subsequently sent to Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth. Subsequent to his initial officer training, he returned to the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard where he spent several years serving as an officer aboard a number of varied vessels within the Coast Guard’s fleet. In 1988, then Lieutenant Rodulfo was attached to the Coast Guard Air Wing as a fixed-wing pilot as he was in possession of a Commercial Pilot’s License. He has held many positions within the Coast Guard Air Wing including Command Pilot on the Cessna 310, Cessna 402B and C26 aircraft; as well as the offices of Senior Command Pilot and Acting Commander Air.

In addition to the above, Group Captain Rodulfo has held staff appointments within the Ministry of National Security and the Defence Force, the most recent being in the office of Defence Transformation and Integration Secretariat. Group Captain Rodulfo holds a Masters in Human Resource Management (MHRM) and the designation “Global Professional in Human Resources” (GPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute and is a graduate of the United States Naval War College.

He was appointed to the position of Commanding Officer Trinidad and Tobago 01, July, 2009. 

His hobbies include reading, running, jazz and ethno-music (world-music) and gardening.
